1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") enable the relationship between TripOnTip ("Platform Provider") and the School/Institution ("Subscriber") and its authorized users (Parents/Staff). By accessing our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Role of the Platform

TripOnTip is a technology intermediary and data processor. We provide the software infrastructure for school transport, including live GPS tracking, offline-first QR boarding validation, and automated RTO compliance tracking. We DO NOT operate buses, employ drivers, or manage daily transport schedules.

The School (Subscriber) is solely responsible for:

• Verifying driver credentials and physical vehicle fitness
• Uploading and maintaining valid, up-to-date vehicle documents (insurance, permits, PUC) within the platform
• Managing student rosters and parent data accuracy
• Ensuring drivers correctly operate the TripOnTip mobile application during trips
• Obtaining necessary parental consents for data processing
• First-line support for transport-related queries

3. User Accounts & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that are suspected of misuse or security violations.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose or surveillance beyond safety
• Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the platform
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Input false or misleading data into the system

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, TripOnTip shall not be liable for:

• Physical accidents or incidents involving school vehicles
• Delays caused by network/GPS signal failures
• Actions or omissions of school drivers or staff
• Decisions made based on information provided by our service

Our liability is strictly limited to the technical functionality of the software platform.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

7. Data Ownership & DPDP Compliance

All data entered into the platform by the Subscriber (School/Institution) remains the property of the Subscriber. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023, TripOnTip acts strictly as a Data Processor, while the School acts as the Data Fiduciary. We handle data according to the Subscriber's instructions and our Privacy Policy, implementing robust security measures to protect student and parent information.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
